    • Real Life geht vor!

(Oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi)

See me ride out of the sunset
    On your colour TV screen
Out for all that I can get
If you know what I mean
Women to the left of me
    And women to the right
    Ain't got no gun
    Ain't got no knife
    Don't you start no fight

    'Cause I'm JI.AN.JI., I'm dynamite
(JI.AN.JI.) and I'll win the fight
    (JI.AN.JI.) I'm a power load
    (JI.AN.JI.) watch me explode

I'm dirty, mean and mighty unclean
    I'm a wanted man
    Public enemy number one
    Understand
    So lock up your daughter
    Lock up your wife
    Lock up your back door
    And run for your life
The man is back in town
So don't you mess me 'round

    'Cause I'm JI.AN.JI. I'm dynamite
(JI.AN.JI.) and I'll win the fight
    (JI.AN.JI.) I'm a power load
    (JI.AN.JI.) watch me explode

    JI.AN.JI., (oi, oi, oi)
    JI.AN.JI., (oi, oi, oi)
    JI.AN.JI., (oi, oi, oi)
    JI.AN.JI., (oi, oi, oi)
    JI.AN.JI., (oi, oi, oi) , I'm dynamite
(JI.AN.JI., oi, oi, oi), and I'll win the fight,
(JI.AN.JI., oi, oi, oi), I'm a power load
    (JI.AN.JI.), watch me explode!

    Gildenprofil Jianji auf warhammeronline.com

After taking a few months off, the guild spotlight is back and this time we're focusing on Jianji, a rank 40 Destruction guild on the German server Drakenwald. Jianji is led by Erdknuffel, who is also a moderator on the European forums. For more information, visit their website.

    What is Jianji's background?

Jianji, formerly known as Sun Tsu, was founded on the German ORvR Server Averland on the European headstart of Warhammer Online. Our former guild leader Arminiok tried to build a strictly structured PvP guild with the ability to lead the way RvR was played on the server.

What led to the name change?

Well, about 4 months ago some people wanted to show that the Rules of Conduct weren't being looked after as good as they should be. They wanted to make an example how bad the rules are, because I'm one of the European moderators. So they looked for a violation of the rules with the guild name Sun Tsu and they found one: Sun Tsu is a historical person and it's not allowed to use such names. Many people started reporting our guild name and the GOA CS changed our name without contacting us first into "Sunrise."

We had to find a new name and we wanted to use something that reminded us of the Chinese background of our previous name, so some of our guild members searched for good translations and found "Jianji." We think that it means "attack and destroy," but it's also a word for a fried chicken! BW ftl

Has your moderator status affected Jianji in any other ways?

Sure, in many different ways. Many members found us because I helped them in the forums, and many German players know who I am. We don't have to do much advertising for our guild, because many players get interested in what Jianji is by themselves when they see the guild tag under my name in the official forums.

    How is Jianji organized?

We have me as guild leader, a few officers (only about 1-3) and some people who help invite alts into the guild.

For us it's important to play together. So we have guild evenings every week where every member who is online has to join the warbands. We announce the dates of these evenings at our website (which is one foundation to hold our guild with its 80-100 members together).

On the topic of websites, you have a Twitter account. Do you use it for your guild?

No, many Germans don't like to use Twitter. It's more a marketing tool to inform other people about news and interesting stuff.

What do you think sets Jianji apart from other guilds on Drakenwald?

Many guilds have a TeamSpeak server (most of the German guilds use TeamSpeak 2 or 3 as voice communication software), a website and nice people in it. What sets us apart, in my opinion, is that we teach our guild mates how RvR works at our weekly guild evenings, we try to play together as often as we can and (that's what my guild mates say) we have a polarizing guild leader.

Why is AC/DC's T.N.T. your guild anthem?

One of our guild mates recognized that JI AN JI sounds similar to T N T. AC/DC is a great band and T.N.T. an awesome song - why not?

You helped to organize the Pink for Tink event on Drakenwald. What work went into accomplishing it?

After Mythic implemented the two new colors, many players thought that it would be great to have an event similar to the original event on Badlands. After many players contacted me, I went to Anij and asked him if he could help me to organize it. We made an announcement in the official forums, advertised it in the Tier 4 chat and the players spread the news around by themselves. So for us, everything was pretty easy.

What are your guild's short term and long term goals?

In the short term, we want to have around 100 players in our guild. (That's not easy as the summer is always a tough time for guilds, especially during a soccer world cup). Our long term goal is to get better as WAR players, defeat our enemies as often as we can and simply spread the waaagh around on Drakenwald.

If there was one thing you could tell players on Drakenwald, what would it be?

Respect your ally and respect your enemy. RvR is a competition, not a war!

Is there anything else you would like to add about Jianji?

You don't have to be part of Jianji to get help by our members. Many of us like to help others. So if you're on Drakenwald playing Destruction, just contact one of us if you need help, and if you see warbands of us running around, ask if you could join them - we always appreciate playing together with people who are as addicted to WAR as we are!
